Regions of Interest User Preferences

You can customise the way Jim displays and edits ROIs to match your own preferences. Select Preferences ... from the Edit menu:

This brings up the ROI Preferences dialog:

Using this, you can set:

Your preferred colours for displaying ROIs, when they are in unselected, selected or deleted states.
Your preferred colours for displaying the handles on an ROI.
Your preferred colour for displaying Text ROIs on the image.
The font size (measured in screen pixels) for Text ROIs.
Whether you want to the vertices of Straight Line, Curved Line and Irregular ROIs to snap to the corners of pixels or to the centres of pixels when snap pixel snap is turned on.
Whether you want to display extended ROI statistics on startup.
The eraser pen size on startup.
The mask action on startup.
The number of ROI editing operations that can be undone.

To change a colour, click on the coloured button next to the feature you want to set.

Press the button to set the ROI colours for this session only. Changes will not be saved to your user preferences if you only press the button.

To revert to the default setting press the button. To save the settings to your user preferences so that they will always be set when you start Jim, press the button.

Click the button when you have finished setting your ROI preferences.
