Regions of Interest User Preferences

This brings up the ROI Preferences dialog:

Using this, you can set:

• Your preferred colours for displaying ROIs, when they are in unselected, selected or deleted states.
• Your preferred colours for displaying the handles on an ROI.
• Your preferred colour for displaying ROI annotation on the image.
• The palette of colours used to display coloured ROIs.
• The font size (measured in screen pixels) for Text ROIs and annotation.
• Whether you want ROI toolkit dialog always to be shown on top of any other windows, in order to make it easy to find on your computer screen.
• Whether you want ROI toolkit dialog to be shown minimised on startup.
• Whether you want ROI statistics to be shown automatically on startup.
• Whether you want to display extended ROI statistics on startup.
• Whether you want to the vertices of Straight Line, Curved Line, Irregular and Spline ROIs to snap to the corners of pixels or to the centres of pixels when pixel snap is turned on.
• Whether you want to merge overlapping contours after 3-D propagation. This prevents the creation of ROIs that contain other ROIs (holes).
• The eraser pen size on startup.
• The mask action on startup.
• The erosion/dilation distance for morphological operations, as a percentage of the pixel size.
• The number of ROI editing operations that can be undone.
• Whether you prefer to save all your region-of-interest files in one place, or to save them alongside the individual images. If you select , the default folder to save your ROIs will be the same as the folder containing the image you currently have loaded. If you un-select this check-box, the folder for saving ROIs will remain unchanged when you load a new image.
