Applying the Uniformity Correction to Other Images
You can estimate the bias field from one image, and apply the
correction to another image. This might be useful where the second
image has much poorer signal-to-noise ratio, or an unusual
contrast that makes it difficult to estimate the bias
field. Application of a previously-found correction is also very
quick, so this could save considerable time in cases where you have
multiple images of the same subject with identical scan plane
positioning.
Saving the Bias Field to Disk
To save an image of the bias field estimate to disk, ensure that the
check-box is ticked.
Now, when you perform the correction, an image of the vias field will be saved to an image with
the same name as the input image but with the suffix "_Bias" appended to the name.
Applying Correction Parameters to Another Image
To apply the bias field estimate to another image, ensure that the
check-box is ticked and then load the bias
field image into the image selection panel below:
