Quantitative Susceptibility Mapping (QSM)

Introduction

Quantitative susceptibility mapping takes a set of gradient-echo images acquired at different echo times, and through a series of intermediate steps, estimates a map (image) of magnetic susceptibility.

The input image(s) must contain complex pixel intensities (i.e. each point in the image has a real value and an imaginary value). The complex components may be contained in separate image slices, or the image may of data type Complex, with interleaved real and imaginary components.
