This tool takes one or more gradient-echo MR input images, extracts information about the fat and water content, and produces several output parameter images. The input image or images must be acquired using an MRI gradient-echo pulse sequence with different echo times (TEs). Images at the different echo times may be collected either in one multi-echo sequence, or in separate acquisitions. If there is more than one input image, then each input image must contain all echoes for one image slice location.
The input images must contain complex pixel intensities (i.e. each point in the image has a real value and an imaginary value), although the complex components may be contained in separate image slices.
